A man from Punxsutawney who allegedly punched another man in the face is now facing charges of simple assault and harassment.
According to ExploreJeffersonPA.com, at midnight on September 1, someone was doing donuts in a field and lost control and collided with a vehicle belonging to 46 year old David Andrew Phillips. The online report states Phillips thought the driver hit his wife, who was standing next to his vehicle, and allegedly removed the driver and hit him multiple times in the face with a closed fist.
A preliminary hearing is set for November 21st with Judge Bazlak presiding.
