The Punxsutawney Area School District offered two properties to the Punxsutawney Borough Council.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, at last night’s meeting the council unanimously accepted the George C. Brown swimming pool and the Harmon Field property from the school district.
According to the published report, with a 6-0 vote the council approved a 5K run/walk event slated for Saturday November 16th at 2 in the afternoon starting at the Jefferson County Housing Authority Social Hall in Punxsutawney.
