The preliminary hearing is set for Friday morning at 10 for 56 year old Paul Pape, who is charged with with indecent assault, official oppression, and obstruction of the administration of law.
According to the magisterial district judge criminal docket, Judge Mizerock will be presiding. In Attorney General Josh Shapiro’s press release, Pape, a Jefferson County Constable and candidate for Jefferson County Sheriff, allegedly told the victim he could make a warrant go away if she had sex with him. The AG’s Office also stated they believe there may be other victims.
