The Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal, along with the Marion Center Fire Department and Perry Township VFD, have determined a shed fire in North Mahoning Township of Indiana County to be arson.
According to investigators, the fire occurred just before midnight this past Sunday at a residence on Route 119, where a $5,000 10′ X 16′ wood frame shed was destroyed.
The victim, 36 year old Phillip Marrow of Rochester Mills, was home at the time of the fire and he was not injured. Pennsylvania State Police say the incident is not connected or related to other arson and fire investigations that happened in the area, and the investigation of this incident continues.
