Rolling through a stop sign was the cause of an accident on Saturday in Farmington Township of Clarion County.
Authorities say 60 year old Geraldine Smith of Brookville was traveling north on Miola Road around one in the afternoon when she failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection with Route 36. According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville, she hit the side of a car driven by 57 year old Melody Chisholm of State College, who was traveling east on Route 36.
Everyone was wearing seat belts and no injures were reported, but Smith was charged for not stopping at a stop sign.
