The average price of gasoline across Western Pennsylvania is 13 cents higher this week at $2.88 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report.
The region saw a minimal impact following last weekend’s drone attacks on Saudi Arabian oil facilities, with many states switching over to winter-blend gasoline last week. This blend is cheaper to produce and sell, compared to summer-blend.
Average price during this week last year was $3.12
The average price of unleaded self-serve gasoline in various areas: $2.90 in Punxsutawney, DuBois at $2.86, Indiana showing an average of $2.90 and Clarion is standing at $2.87.
The national price for a gallon of gasoline is $2.66.
