Yesterday morning after midnight Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney responded to a single-vehicle accident that happened on Ramsaytown Road near its intersection with Baha Lane in Rose Township of Jefferson County.
Troopers say they found an unoccupied disabled vehicle that had crashed into a utility pole. While Officers were conducting an investigation into the crash, a 21 year old man from Brookville, who admitted he was the operator of the vehicle, returned to the scene with noticeable injures and smelling of alcohol. He was transported by Jefferson County EMS to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment of injuries.
The drivers name was not released and the investigation is ongoing.

Pennsylvania State Police in Clarion are asking anyone with information about a case of criminal mischief in Sligo to call them.
Authorities say 61 year old Billy Simpson of Sligo reported to police sometime between September 9th and the 20th that someone broke a window and a door to his mother’s residence that is unoccupied on Front Street in Sligo.
Investigators say no items were missing, however about $250 worth of damage was done.

The Pennsylvania State Police DuBois patrol unit responded to a report of theft by deception with a credit card at a residence on Helvetia Road in Brady Township of Clearfield County.
On September 20th around 5:30 in the evening an unknown person had attempted to make purchases using a woman’s credit card information without her consent.
The victim’s name was not in the report, but she was able to cancel the card in time to avoid any financial loss.
The investigation continues.
