A man from Cherry Tree avoided injury in a single vehicle accident that happened on Saturday morning in Montgomery Township in Indiana County.
The Pennsylvania State Police in Indiana say 20 year old Steven Pearce reported to them that he swerved to miss a deer that entered the lane he was driving in on Arcadia Road near Clark Road around 8:45.
Pearce was not injured; however, he did hit a large rock, causing disabling damage, and his car had to be towed from the scene.
