The preliminary hearing is set for the shooting suspect who was on the loose, but then captured by the Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney last week.
According to the magisterial district judge criminal docket, 39 year old Ryan Dennis Snyder is scheduled to stand in front of Magisterial District Judge Jacqueline Mizerock on the morning of September 24th at 11:15.
Snyder has been charged with five counts of discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, one count of strangulation – applying pressure to the throat or neck, terroristic threats, plus multiple other charges. The charges stem from an incident on the evening of September 11th when Pennsylvania State Police reported Snyder was involved in a domestic situation where he is accused of firing a gun into an occupied structure near Sandy Hill road in Ringgold Township of Jefferson County.
Authorities captured Snyder on September 12th and he is in the Jefferson County Jail on $100,000 monetary bail.
