A cat was part of the cause of a single-vehicle accident that happened yesterday around 3:30 in the afternoon in Falls Creek of Clearfield County.
The Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois report the crash occurred as 65 year old Henry Deible of Reynoldsville was traveling north on Main Street just south of Taylor Street, when a cat crossed the path of the road way. Dieble tried to avoid hitting the feline with his truck and traveled off the right side of the road hitting a utility pole, small trees and an embankment before coming to a rest.
Falls Creek VFD assisted and the scene and Dieble was given a warning.
