Yesterday a car was disabled on I 80 West in Union Township of Jefferson County and the driver was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence.
Pennsylvania State Police say they responded to the scene around three in the morning for a report of a car with a flat tire between the Corsica and the Sigel/Brookville exits. According to the police, when they arrived they could smell marijuana smoke from the vehicle and observed clues of impairment from the 21 year old driver, a man from Newburgh, New York.
Troopers asked the man to step out and he was given a battery of field sobriety tests, leading to his arrest for suspicion of DUI.
The man was taken back to the Punxsutawney barracks and that investigation is ongoing.
