On Friday, a man called Clearfield County 911 and reported he was lost in the State Game lands area of Glen Campbell.
The Indiana Gazette reports close to 10 pm on September 6th the unidentified man called the 911 center and stated he was lost in the woods and troopers determined the cell call came in from 262 west of Glen Campbell in Grant township. According to the published report, Indiana County Emergency management assigned a search detail to Spotts Road in nearby Banks Township, involving VFD’s from Glen Campbell, Rossiter, Big Run, Pine Creek’s K9 Unit and Elk Run with their light tower.
No word as of yet if the man has been found.

Last evening around 7 there was a hit and run in Young Township.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports the crash happened on Route 119 near the intersection of South Main Street Extension, when VFD Lindsey found one of the two vehicles that was hit from behind by another vehicle, which fled the scene.
According to the published report, the driver on the scene said the other driver provided with insurance information and continued north on 119, where Pennsylvania State Police attempted to track down.

Pennsylvania State Police report the theft of 60 to 80 Oxycodone pills and thirty Flexeril pills from a home along Juniper Road in Green Township.
The theft was discovered last Thursday night by the 48-year-old victim. Oxycodone is a dangerous opioid and Flexeril is a muscle relaxant that is also used to treat opioid withdrawal. If taken together, they can be fatal.
