Charges were filed against two people in Jefferson County for endangering the welfare of children.
According to The Punxsutawney Spirit, the charges stem from an August 23rd investigation by the Punxsutawney Borough Police Department and Jefferson County Children and Youth Services at a residence on South Pine Street, where two children were found to be in dangerous, unsanitary and in need of medical and dental attention.
The published report cites court documents indicating the charges were filed at Judge Mizerock’s Office against 42 year old Jason Lee Myres and 28 year old Kayla Lynn Barnett, both of Punxsutawney.
