Marion Center Fire Department was called out for a physical rescue at Martin’s General Store Friday evening.
Indiana County 911 reported that the call went out close to 7 PM for Marion Center’s firefighters. According to the fire department’s Facebook page, the rescue squad was summoned to Martin’s General Store on Route 119 North near the intersection with Route 85.
The rescue was because someone had called in that a baby was locked inside a car. Few details are available on the rescue itself, but fire officials say that the baby was able to be extricated and was safe.
