A man from Brookville was arrested for a protection from abuse order violation on Circle Drive in Rose Township of Jefferson County.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police in Punxsutawney, on the morning of August 17th between 6 and 9:30, they received a report of a PFA violation. The incident was investigated and an arrest warrant was issued for 51 year old George Fusco. Pennsylvania State Police in Marienville took the arrestee into custody and transported him to the Jefferson County Jail where he was later arraigned and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
The case remains open pending a preliminary hearing. The name of the victim a 53 year old woman also from Brookville was not in the police report.
