The borough of Big Run held their council meeting on Monday night and one of the issues raised was storm sewers.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, during the public works segment, it was noted the storm sewers are 90 percent full and they need Punxsutawney’s sewer Vactor truck to clean them at a cost of $250 for the first hour and $100 per hour there after.
The published report said the Big Run Council unanimously agreed to change the locks and solicit bids to put air conditioning in the War Memorial.
The next meeting is set for 7 pm on September 16.
