Next Phase of the State Route 119, Indiana Hill Project in Punxsutawney: Smooth Ride Coming This Spring…
The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation wants to remind Punxsutawney motorists that while State Route 119 is now open to motorists, the Indiana Hill Project is not yet complete.
While the paving looks complete, PennDOT must still monitor the settlement of the large fill through monitors, which measure and track settlement. It will then place the final wearing on the road, giving motorists a smooth ride.
PennDOT plans to complete the SR 119, Indiana Hill Project on time, in June 2020.
