A juvenile from Brookville was in a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday in Eldred Township.
Around 4:30 in the afternoon, police say the 17 year old male was traveling south on Mineweaser Road in Jefferson County and while going around a curve, he traveled off the left side of the roadway and hit a tree. He and his passenger, 18 year old Alexander Smith, also of Brookville, were not injured as they were wearing seat belts, but the truck had disabling damage and the air bags deployed.
The juvenile was charged for not driving on the right side of the roadway.
