A deer on the roadway was the cause of a single accident in Forest County….
PSP in Marienville say the crash happened on state route 62 near Wheeler Lane when a deer ran out from the right side of the road causing 41 year old Jerrod Wolfe of Tionesta, who was heading south, to swerve across the oncoming lane and hit a ditch, then traveled about a hundred feet and overturned the vehicle’s right side.
PSP report the accident happened on July 19 before 9 pm. Wolfe was wearing his seat belt and was not injured, but his pickup truck had to be towed from the scene. He was not charged for the incident.
