Renda Broadcasting had a representative at the meeting last night when the Punxsutawney Chamber of Commerce President Katie Laska has requested on behalf of the Chamber to oversee the festival in the park 2020 and said it will not be a fund raiser for the chamber, the money will used for festival expenses, all other money will go to the following years festival.
Any money beyond that will be donated to the Punxsutawney Borough for park maintenance. Laska offer they will have detailed records of the money and full disclosure of their records. When the council put the proposal up for a vote Vice President Toby Santik announced the decision…
The unambitious approval also includes the closing of some streets during next years festival.
