The state police in Dubois report the crash occurred near mile marker 84 when 34 year old Jeanrene Vil of Spring Valley was possibly traveling too fast for the wet road conditions and and lost control of his car, hit a guide rail, traveled back into traffic and collided with a tractor trailer in the right lane driven by 49 year old David Jans of York. This caused Vil to go into the left lane and hit a vehicle driven by 35 year old Jahongir Bozarov of Philadelphia.
All three came to a rest in the travel lanes. Vil was reported to have a suspected injury to his head and neck and was not charged at the scene; however PSP say charges are pending.
