A woman from Clearfield County was involved in a single-car accident last week.
The Pennsylvania State Police in DuBois say the accident occurred on Saturday around 1:00 in the morning, with 19-year-old Keaton Maines of DuBois driving North on Highland Street Extension, South of Tower Lane, when a deer entered the roadway. Maines used her brakes and swerved to the east side of the shoulder, causing her to slide into an embankment, before flipping her car onto its roof.
Maines had minor injuries but was not transported to a hospital. She was wearing a seat belt and cited for not driving at a safe speed.
