UPDATE FROM PENNDOT:
Closure of State Route 2061 in Gilpin Township Extended. Today, the re-opening of SR 2061 has been extended to approximately July 31, but only with a single lane restriction.
This past week, Pennsylvania Department of Transportation closed Lover’s Leap Road in both directions due to a landslide.
The closure of SR 2061 is closed from Mule Hollow Road to Pitt Street in Gilpin Township. PennDOT crews are on site to detour motorists around the debris. Check out conditions for yourself by logging on to 511PA.com.
