Last evening in Punxsutawney there was a three-vehicle accident that left two people injured.
According to the Punxsutawney Spirit, the crash happened just before 7 on West Mahoning Street. While two vehicles were stopped in line waiting for a truck to make a turn, a vehicle came in from behind driven by Holly Neil, who was unable to come to a stop and collided with the vehicle driven by Ruth Neil. The impact pushed Neil’s vehicle into the other car, driven by David Anthony.
All the drivers are from Punxsutawney. The published report says two people were injured and borough police were assisted by local fire departments as well as EMS,
