The Pennsylvania State Police released more details about Friday morning’s fatal accident that happened on Route 119 north of Punxsutawney.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police and the Indiana Gazette, the crash occurred around 9:30 in Bell Township when a car traveling south driven by 54 year old Matthew White crossed the double yellow lines into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck driven by 63 year old Zoltan Laska also of Punxsutawney.
White was pronounced dead at the scene. The coroner said an autopsy confirmed he died of blunt force trauma to the head.
Laska was transported to Punxsutawney Hospital, then transferred to Altoona for treatment of injuries.
