A woman from out of state faces charges of DUI and drug possession.
The State Police in Punxsutawney stopped a vehicle on I80 East in Brookville Borough for summary traffic violation on May 22 close to 1 in the afternoon, and noticed the odor of raw marijuana within the car. A search yielded marijuana and paraphernalia.
The driver, 30 year old Brittani Matthews of Flint, Michigan, was suspected for driving under the influence of a controlled substance and was taken into custody. Charges are pending.
