Three deer were part of the cause of a single-vehicle rollover crash.
Authorities report the accident happened on Sunday around 3 pm on Beaver Meadow Road, north of Birch Street in Jenks Township, Forest County, when 35 year old Jeffery Branson of Pittsburgh was driving north around a curve that went down a hill. Branson said he saw three deer enter the road, swerved to miss them, lost control of the vehicle and left the roadway. His vehicle hit two trees before rolling over.
The driver was taken to Clarion Hospital for treatment of a suspected serious injury and he was charged for not driving at a safe speed.
