A driver is charged with driving under the influence of alcohol for an incident that happened last month.
According to the Brookville Borough Police Department, on April 25 at 10:30 pm, a vehicle was pulled over for having a faulty brake light on the Allegheny Boulevard, and while authorities were talking with the 52 year old driver from Brookville, they noticed the smell of alcohol.
After they administered a field sobriety test and pending blood results, he was arrested for suspicion of DUI. The laboratory confirmed his BAC was .10 the former legal limit in Pennsylvania; however the limit now is .08. The driver is now charged with DUI.
