The Brookville Area High School posted a scam alert.
According to the post, the scam is mostly directed to seniors who are going to college. They receive an email saying they have been selected for a work study position with their chosen university. In some cases students are asked to send personal information.
Be aware this is a scam. Always have them check with the school guidance councilor.
