Even from the highway adjacent to the Windy Ridge site in White Township, drivers can see daily progress on the 892,000 square foot URBN fulfillment center.
The company expects to have the massive building ready to go in early August, and yesterday it went live with a job posting seeking 50 workers. PA Careerlink forwarded the information yesterday.
URBN’s posting reads, “Career Opportunities: Urban Outfitters Inc. Material Handler.” The job will pay $12.60 per hour to start, with two shifts working seven days a week.
The distribution center will eventually build to an estimated 225 employees, handling the company’s furniture line. The company has already been hiring managers who will handle the interviews and hiring of the workforce.
