The band and choir performed for the Punxsutawney School Board on Tuesday’s voting meeting and played what they worked on all year.
The Punxsutawney Spirit reports they closed with reminding everyone that this Saturday afternoon the band department will be performing the sound of music from 1 to 3 in the auditorium.
The published report says the discussion of hiring a replacement for a retiring physical education teacher was a divided issue. After casting an official straw vote, five were in favor of not hiring, while four were in favor of hiring.
