A barn fire yesterday morning around 6 has been ruled arson.
Assistant Fire Chief of the Washington Township Fire Department requested assistance from the Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal at the scene of a barn fire on Old Fryburg Road in Clarion County. It’s unknown how may suspects entered the barn and spread used oil in the center of the barn and ignited two bales of straw, but the structure did not become fully engulfed because of a passerby who reported the fire.
Damage was limited and estimated around $500. State Police are looking for information to be called into the Marienville station 814 927 5253.
