Authorities at the Kiski Valley station of the Pennsylvania State Police released statistics for the month of April.
Troopers answered 930 calls, investigators in the crime division received 92 reports of offenses and determined nine were unfounded, cleared 66 cases and arrested 66 suspects. Highway patrol troopers issued 436 traffic tickets, including one child safety seat violation and 189 written warnings.
Twenty eight crashes resulted in 13 people injured. Four accidents were attributed to impaired drivers under the influence, and 12 motorists were assisted.

During the morning of April 30 at 10:15, authorities seized marijuana infused liquid from Gage Hess of Indiana in White township and released no other information.

State Police conducted a sobriety checkpoint last night at an undisclosed location in Indiana County.
They report that they arrested one person for driving under the influence, issued five traffic citations, and 23 written warnings. Two people were charged with misdemeanor possession of a controlled substance, and police collared two individuals on outstanding bench warrants.

State Police in Indiana are investigating an incident that happened on May 1 at 10 in the morning on Mahoning Road, South Mahoning Township, when a 78 year old woman from Smicksburg was allegedly scammed out of a large sum of money.
Her name was not released and authorities are continuing their investigation.

Brookville Borough District Court was given a bad check.
Authorities say on April 24 at 9 in the morning, the court received a check from an account that was closed. Charges of theft by deception were filed through the District Court.
Names and other information were not released.

The State Police in Indiana released Statistics for the month of April.
According to PSP Indiana Station Troop A, 246 criminal offenses were reported and 233 of them were founded. In patrol activity, they had 62 crashes, including one fatality and 12 hit and runs, including two fatalities. Thirty eight driving under the influence arrests were made, with one involving a crash, but no fatalities.
More than 1,300 traffic citations were issued, and 314 warnings were given. One child safety seat citation was issued.
