
A Jefferson County man was killed yesterday while riding his motorcycle.
Authorities say the fatal accident occurred on Carson Hill Road/Route 219, south of the intersection with Ace Valley Road, Brady Township, when 77 year old John Weber of Reynoldsville was going around a right hand curve on his motorcycle, crossed the double yellow line and was hit by a car driven by 46 year old James Will of DuBois. Weber was thrown from his bike and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clearfield County Coroner.
According to the State Police in DuBois, Weber was wearing a helmet. Will was wearing his seat belt, but he was transported to Penn Highlands for treatment of minor injuries.
