Two people from Armstrong County were charged last week for an incident that happened in March in Jefferson County.
State Police in Punxsutawney say the charges stem from a traffic stop on March 23 around 11 pm on Perry Street and New York Avenue. The driver, 20 year old Isaac Bowser of Dayton, was charged on Wednesday with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol, possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia and five summary traffic violations. Authorities charged the passenger, 19 year old Milla Rowels, also from Dayton, with possession of drug paraphernalia, underage drinking, and having an open container.
Preliminary hearings are set for June 25 in front of Judge Mizerock in Punxsutawney.
