A man from Clarion who allegedly assaulted a woman is in jail.
According to ExploreClarion.com, 63 year old Leland A. Beighley is facing criminal charges of simple assault, harassment and disorderly conduct for allegedly grabbing a woman by her throat and throwing her to the ground.
Beighley is in the Clarion County Jail on $5,000 bail. His preliminary hearing is set for April 30 with Judge Quinn presiding.
