The cause of a fire in New Bethlehem has not been determined.
The Chief of the New Bethlehem Fire Department requested assistance from the PA State Police Fire Marshal in determining the cause and origin of a fire that destroyed a 24′ x 30′, two-stall garage that happened on April 3 around 4 pm on Summit road in Porter Township, Clarion County.
The Marshal determined the fire started in the rear of the garage, but the exact cause was not determined. No one was injured and damage is estimated at $150,000 and it was not insured.
