A couple preliminary’s hearings were waived this week.
According to ExploreJeffersonpa.com, 36-year-old Jeffery Joe Shaffer of Brookville, who is charged with possession of unstamped cigarettes, will have that transferred to the Jefferson County Court of Common Pleas.
Shaffer is currently free on $15,000.00 unsecured bail. The published reports also says 49-year-old Keith Christopher Girvan of Shippenville, who allegedly told his father he is a dead man, will have his charges transferred to the Clarion County Court of Common Pleas while he remains in the Clarion County Jail on $40K bail.
