Just after midnight on Sunday, Brookville Borough Police pulled a pick up over for several traffic violations and that lead to the driver being charged with DUI.
Authorities say the 32 year old man from Brookville was driving on East Main Street and after they had him pulled over, they detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath.
After additional testing he was suspected for driving under the influence of alcohol and placed under arrest. He was taken to the Brookville Hospital where he refused a blood test. He was charged with DUI and other summary traffic violations.
