A basic traffic stop in Punxsutawney resulted in two people arrested for drugs.
PSP in Punxsutawney say the incident happened the intersection of Perry Street and New York Avenue on March 23 around 11:15 pm when they pulled a vehicle over for a summary traffic violation and arrested a 20 year old man from Dayton for driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia, as well as his passenger, a 19 year old woman also from Dayton.
The charges are pending.
