State Representative Chris Dush announced 24 volunteer fire and ambulance companies throughout Jefferson and Indiana counties will get almost $276K from a grant program through the Pennsylvania Emergency management Agency and the office of the state Fire Commissioner.
Central Fire Department will get about $12,500, Lindsey Fire Company a little more than $12,666, and Rossiter Volunteer Fire Company will receive $11,600.
Surrounding places: Jefferson County EMS, Summerville, Knox, Reynoldsville fire and ambulance and Sykesville all can expect between $7K to $12K approximately.
