
At beginning of the month, a fender bender happened on 5th Avenue in Clarion.
The State Police in Clarion say the accident happened when 87 year old Vada Roof of New Bethlehem pulled out of Water Run Road onto State Route 68 in front of a car driven by 30 year old Carol Henley Runyan from Emlenton, who then hit Roof from behind.
No one was hurt and no charges were filed.

There’s an ongoing investigation into a case of terroristic threats.
The State Police in Marienville say the incident occurred during the evening hours on January 28 at the State Correctional Institution in Forest County, when someone allegedly threatened to harm a 27 year old woman who was being released from the prison.
No other information was released.

A man was arrested for DUI after police say he caused an accident.
DuBois City police say the accident happened on Maple Avenue in DuBois, last evening just before 8, when a driver lost control of his can and crossed into the oncoming lane of traffic hitting another vehicle. After further investigation the driver was determined to be under the influence of alcohol and he was arrested for DUI and charges are pending.
Names were not released.

Four mailboxes were damaged on Wishaw Road in Jefferson County this past weekend.
According to the State Police in DuBois the incident happened between the evening hours of February 15 and the morning hours of 16, when four mailboxes were damaged. The victims’ names have not been released, They are all from Reynoldsville.

Charges have now been filed against a woman from Clarion who allegedly stole another woman’s debit card.
Investigators say the incident happened on December 10th around 6:30 pm when 39 year old Turia Miller is accused of using a debit card belonging to 30 year old Lindsay Sears, both from Clarion, to make purchases when she was not authorized. The total amount of the purchases was about $25 and $300 worth of over draft fees.
Police used video surveillance as evidence and charges were filed at district court.

A wallet was found back in the beginning of the month at the intersection of Route 68 and Perkins Road in Monroe Township in Clarion County.
The State Police in Clarion say the wallet is black and has cards inside. Anyone with information, call the State Police in Clarion.
