A Jefferson County man is jailed after Pennsylvania State Police accused him of repeatedly sexually abusing a young girl over an eight-year period.
WJAC news reports, police allege 43-year-old Daniel Troyer assaulted the victim multiple times between 2015 and 2023 at a home in Ringgold Township. Investigators say the allegations came to light after the victim disclosed the abuse to a family member last week. Court documents state Troyer admitted to assaulting or molesting the child at least 20 times. He is charged with more than 100 offenses, including involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, aggravated indecent assault of a child and corruption of minors.
Troyer is being held in the Jefferson County Jail on $300,000 bail.
