According to AAA, the national average for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline is $4.09, while Pennsylvania’s average is $4.11.
That’s up nearly 87 cents from $3.24 a gallon at this time last year.
In western and central Pennsylvania, drivers are generally paying between $4.10 and $4.27 a gallon in Jefferson, Clearfield, Indiana and Clarion counties, depending on the station and community.
