Borough officials and residents are continuing discussions on improving code enforcement in Punxsutawney.
Today’s Punxsutawney Spirit reports that a community code review and visioning session was held last night at the Punxsutawney Area Community Center, where residents discussed whether enforcement should be more proactive, complaint-based, or a combination of both.
Officials and attendees also highlighted the need to address abandoned and deteriorating properties while balancing enforcement with community education.
