A section of Beaver Drive in DuBois will be closed to traffic beginning today as the city begins a paving project.
According to a Courier Express report, City Manager Joe Fleming said the closure will affect the roadway from Division Street to Shaffer Road starting at 6 a.m. each Monday through Thursday morning while crews complete paving work. The road will reopen for weekend traffic from Thursday through Sunday. The project is expected to continue until around the start of the school year, weather permitting.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and expect delays during construction.
