A 70-year-old New Jersey man escaped injury after his SUV overturned during heavy rain on Interstate 80 in Jefferson County, according to Pennsylvania State Police.
Troopers said Charles S. Brenner, of Hoboken, lost control of his 2026 Hyundai Tucson around 12:59 a.m. July 10 while traveling eastbound near mile marker 74.5 in Union Township. The vehicle left the roadway, struck an embankment, overturned, and came to rest in the center of the highway.
Brenner, who was wearing a seat belt, was not injured and declined medical treatment. He was cited for failing to drive on roadways laned for traffic.
