A New Bethlehem woman is facing a theft charge after police say she took $45 from a wallet she found in a grocery store parking lot before turning it over to store employees.
Exploreclarion.com is reporting that Southern Clarion County Regional Police say 50-year-old Donna Kay Thomason was identified through surveillance footage allegedly removing the cash from the wallet. Police say Thomason later admitted taking the money, which she used for groceries and gasoline.
Thomason is charged with theft by unlawful taking, and a preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 18.
