A retired Pennsylvania State Police trooper is facing multiple felony charges, including homicide by vehicle while DUI and third-degree murder, following a deadly three-vehicle crash on Route 879 in Clearfield County.
WJAC News reports that State police allege 55-year-old Thomas Reed was under the influence of alcohol when his pickup truck crossed the center line Thursday night, striking a minivan and a motorcycle. The crash killed Judith Jordan, the driver of the minivan, and motorcyclist Frederick Cline.
Reed is being held without bail in the Clearfield County Jail as the investigation continues.
