According to authorities, 37 year old Melisa Foster from Strattanville was arrested for shoplifting an item worth $60 from a retail giant on Perkins Road in Monroe Township, Clarion County on December 22 around 6 o’clock in the evening.

A man from Clarion faces forgery charges from an incident that happened in late last year.
Authorities say on December 27 around 2:30 in the afternoon, 76 year old James Rhoades of Clarion went to a pharmacy to refill the prescription for his friend Karen Minich of Strattanville. Investigators say Rhoades signed the name of 64 year Dr. Barry Snyder from New Bethlehem and tried to have it filled. The pharmacy reported to the Clarion State Police the signature was a forgery and Rhoades was charged with felony forgery and misdemeanor drug forgery charges at the District Court.

The State Police in Clarion investigated a report of two men fighting on Perkins Road in Monroe Township, Clarion County on January 8, around 5:30 pm and arrested 30 year old John Lutz from Strattanville. No other information was released.
